The Characters
Troy
The streets of Cathays and Roath are Troy's private playground, a concrete kingdom where he rules with an rubbery fist. He is Lord of the Ghetto. He is the PRIVATE LANDLORD! The string of slum tenements he controls are home to all manner of people and perversions, but he don't care so long as they got the bread. He is a complicated man, but no one understands him like his women — of whom there are many. In fact, his loyal henchmen call him 'the private landlord that's a sex machine to all the chicks'. He can be one badassed mutha, and he's certainly a man that won't cop out when there's tenants all about. His punishment is severe, and often final — so remember suckas, RENT IS DUE!
Tony Du Bois
Despite the glittering career as a pro wrestler that lay ahead, Tony Du Bois felll in with the wrong crowd, and now acts as Troy's enforcer — although he still keeps his hand in by pinning the occassional guy down. Du Bois likes to make the most of the power and prestige that the role of Troy's Bitch brings with it. Usually found sat at the bar, dacquiri in hand, he has the clothes, the car, the medallion, and the attitude to match.
Alfonso 'The Hairdresser' Bagetti
Known as 'The Hairdresser' for his deadly ability with the cut-throat razor, rather than his lifestyle choices, Bagetti is Troy's trusted right-hand man. He's a no-nonsense, straight-talking sort of guy, equally at home in the salon or a run down old motel, and always ready to share his years of experience with his younger boss.
Leroy Le Badger
Once a law-abiding pillar of the community, Le Badger turned to evil after being betrayed by his childhood sweetheart on the eve of their wedding. A shattered and broken man, he was easily seduced by the lure of easy money and even easier women offered by Troy. Of course those things never materialised, and now he just roams the streets, morality shot to pieces, in search of revenge, or a least a quick hand-job.
The Love Interest
Once a beautiful tenant who fell on hard times, she now acts as Troy's plaything, accepting the degredation that involves out of misguided loyalty. She dreams of becoming an actress, but will she ever escape the marathon go-go dancing sessions that Troy subjects her to?
